Design to Shine

“We are all born geniuses and then the process of living de-geniuses us.”
~ Buckminster Fuller ~

I believe Mr. Fuller got it exactly right!

This leaves us with two narratives that we must deal with. We are born as nonfiction, then all this de-geniusing happens and we’re left to deal with a fictional version of ourselves.

What people are searching for is themselves. The honest, authentic version of themselves. Instinctively, we know deep inside that there is a place of happiness and fulfillment. We know that life must be more than an endless process of survival. And that thriving is in our nature.

The fictional aspects we deal with are the various beliefs, attitudes, and perspectives that lead us away from our nonfiction reality. And we experience a disconnection with divine intention.

Science reveals that we think about 60,000 thoughts a day and 90 percent of the thoughts we have today are the same thoughts we had yesterday. This means, for the most part, we are living our lives on autopilot.

Many sacred traditions and writings reveal an opportunity to become aware of a higher possibility where we can have a direct impact on outcomes and co-create the life of our dreams.

We don’t just use technology, we are technology.

Within our bodies are multiple operating systems. Our thoughts and emotions are particularly useful in bringing about the kind of changes that lead us to live more purposeful and satisfying lives. And just like computers, we can be updated for efficiency.

Questions are thoughts, too. If we are asking the wrong questions, it’s unlikely we will find the answers we are looking for. So then, questions act as gatekeepers to the solutions we seek. Could it be our answer is as simple as asking the right question? Yes, clearly it is.

That is why I chose “Explore – Expound – Expand” as a working motto for the Design to Shine Community. And all you need is curiosity and courage to take your life to new heights.

You can book a time with me to discuss how to empower yourself and move forward.
